can vietnamese apply for hong kong visa?

I am studying in Melbourne, so I have Australia temporary resident visa. I am planning go travel around Asia net year. I want to ask how long does it take to apply for it as a tourist ( I might stay there for 3 day) and which documents required when I apply

Hi, you can submit your application to Chinese consulate in Melbourne, the processing may take about one month if it will be send to HK for approval. For documents required, you should prepare your original passport, application form, photo, Round trip air-ticket booking list, hotel reservation for your stay there.
