About:China Tourist Visa

do i need to submit a non criminal record certificate if i am a canadian living in taiwan?

Hi I am a Canadian citizen currently living in Taiwan with my Taiwanese wife and daughter. I wish to travel to PRC as a tourist for 30 days under an L type. I have a Taiwan non criminal record certificate and a Canadian non criminal record certificate. Do I need to bring these documents to HK for entry into China under the L type? I had them translated and would prefer to keep them in Taiwan if they are not necessary

You actually don't need to provide the non-criminal record for the L type. For the S1, Q1, Z1 and X1 type, you might be required to provide it.
