About:China Tourist Visa

Do I need to prove or book accommodation in advance to apply visa?

Im from malaysia, planning to visit sihuan province, i have bought my air tickets, but not accomodation since i plan to backpack (no fixed location & time) there. (In the application form, it states that I need to fill in my 'itinerary', which i dont have)

If you don't have the invitation letter, then you need to provide round-trip air tickets and hotel bookings. I am afraid that you might not apply for it successfully if you can't provide the hotel booking (booking order).
