About:China Embassy in Thailand

Do I need proof of unemployment, Bank statement, drivers licence?

My friend needs to give proof of unemployment for a tourist visa and I'm trying to get the same but I wasn't asked for a proof of unemployment. I've already gone to the embassy once and my application was rejected because I didn't have a flight out of China booked and I don't want to get rejected again because of this.

Proof of unemployment is not required if the consular officers did not ask for it because they make final dicision on case by case basis. So don't worry, you can apply without it.
