we're going to Yellow Mountain on december 8th. we're taking the plane and landing at huangshan airport around 3:30pm.

we are planning to sleep on the top of the mountain at Paiyunlou hotel. i was wondering if we had enough time on the day we land to get to the hotel so we can spend the whole day there the day after ?

i was also wondering if it's possible to fid a reliable bus schedule from HS to shanghai : one of us has a plane back to france and has to be in shanghai by mid-afternoon on the 10th of december.

Yes, time is enough to get to your hotel after landing. Upon your arrival at the airport, take a taxi to Tunxi Bus Station, where there are direct buses to HS scenic area and I remember the last bus leaves around 17:30.

As for the bus from the scenic area to Shanghai, you can directly take that at Tangkou Bus Station, at the foot of the mountain. They are scheduled at 7:20, 15:00, 15:30 and 17:00.
