Do i need a visa to leave the airport for an 8 or 15 hour layover?

I have a round trip booked from Korea to Sydney and have long layovers and would like to leave the airport. My layovers are 8,9 and 15 hours. Do I need a transit G to just leave the airport and explore the city for a few hours?

It is not necessary, you can apply for a stay permit at the airport if you want to go out of the airport.
