Shanghai - 2 days

Hi everyone.

I'm going to SH for the 1st time in Jan 2014. I'm spending 2.5 full days in that city and I can only go in Jan 2014 as my plane goes via there from the UK back to Syd - so I acknowledge that it will be cold but can't help that.

This is my approx itinerary - so any suggestions / recommendations would be appreciated.

- 22nd Jan - arrive SH in afternoon - do a boat trip at night to see Huangpu River lit up.

- 23rd Jan - Shanghai / day trip to Suzhou (especially Watertown Zhouzhuang )

- 24th Jan - SH / Nanjing Rd , The Bundt ( Oriental Pearl Tower and SH Tower ) , do a small trip on Huangpu River in day. Fly to Beijing late at night

If there is time then I may visit The SH Museum or Jade Buddha Temple. May go see the EAR Acrobatic Show one night.

Thanks for your time and advice.

Jeff

I think you may visit the Bund on Jan 22nd before the Huangpu River Cruise at night, so that you can spend more time to visit the Jade Buddha Temple or the SH museum.
On the Jan 24, you can visit the two tower in the morning and then the museum and the Jade Buddha Temple.
The Ear Acrobatic show can be arranged on the Jan 23 after you back from Zhouzhuang. If feel tired, I think you may need to cancel the show plan.
Hope you can have a nice trip in that city and nearby.
