Kunming Airport

I have a flight from Los Angeles to Kathmandu Nepal There is a 14 hr layover Can I go to a hotel during the layover in Kunming?

Yes, you are allowed to leave the airport duing the stopover, but make sure apply for a stay permit after arrival at the airport from the Immigration Inspection office.
