About:K Trains

Are there any city near to kunming which I can travel by train?

I will be going to KM from 31-3-2014 to 6-4-2014.I intent to stay 3 nights in KM and travel by train to other city and places of interest.which city will you recommend.I must be back to KM to connect my flight by at 1700 on 6/4.Thank You.

It is suggestd to go to Lijiang for the rest of days.
I think Lijiang cannot be missed if you go to Yunnan.

Thanks for your reply.friends told me I should not miss Dali too but I only have 6 nights? what other suggestion? Can I stay 3 nights in KM,1 night in dali and 2 nights in Lijiang?

Actually, both Dali and Lijiang are good destinations. However, as you have only six days, the three cities between are a little fat away, so you may spend too much time on the way. Therefore, I suggest you just choose one for enjoyment. Personally, Lijiang is more recommended.

Thank You elina for your reply.I have decided to go to Km and Lijiang only.My schedule is I will travel by sleeper train to Lijiang after arriving in km at 5 pm.will spent 2 or 3 nights in lijiang and then back to km for another 2 nights.
