About:Shopping in Guangzhou

Guangzhou International Toy and gift Centre at No. 3889, East Huangpu Road, Huangpu District, GZ.

I plan to visit the GZ International Toy and gift Centre.

- Can someone confirm that that centre still exists ?
- I plan to buy individual items, so no lots of toys like wholesale.
- Is is possible to buy toys for personal use?
- Are there stores that sell single items (or only a box with eg. 12 pieces) ?
- What is the best way to travel towards the centre (eg. train, metro, taxi) ? My hotel is near the China Plaza shopping mall.

Thanx in advance for your answers.

The toy city exists.
You can buy some toys for personal use. But in my opinion, if you want to buy toys for personal use, Yide Road is suggested, which is much closer to the city downtown area with convenient transportation.
The stores in the city sells the single item.
From where you live, you take a taxi to reach Martyr's Cemetery Station to take the subway line 1 to reach its terminal at Wenchong Station. Then you can take a taxi to reach the toy center

Thanx for the information.

I have been in Yide Road (OneLink and others), but I was looking for some higher quality toys, like diecast model cars and chinese lego from Banbao and Wange.

Also DIY hobby equipment, scrap booking, cross stitch, model clay.
