I wanna go visit to China in May 2014. If I apply multiple entries now in Sep 2013, will the visa still valid until May 2014?

As far as I know, applicants can not apply more than three months in advance. They are suggested to apply one month in advance. Thus, I am afraid that you might not get the multiple one now for your trip in May 2014.
