Two airports in China, layover 5 hours

Hi, I am a resident of India and will travel from Japan to India en route China. I'll land at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and after 5 hours I need to catch a flight from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to New Delhi, India. Do I need a transit visa?
Kindly let me know and thanks in advance.

It is not required but make sure apply for a stay permit after arrival at the Hongqiao International Airport. You are allowed to transfer from Hongqiao to Pudong airport.
