Hi , my friend wants to travel to MACAU, but his airline is via MANILA-XIAMEN-MACAU.. what are the requirement that he's going to prepare?

How long will he stay in Xiamen? If he stays less than 24 hours, he needn't apply for the transit type one. Otherwise, he has to apply for a G type one in advance before he flies to Xiamen.
