About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

4 hour layover

I am flying from Canada to Australia with a stopover in Beijing for 4 hours. So do i need to do anything before i leave Canada? Can i just tell the airline on my flight day? Thank you for any assistance.

Hi, it is not necessary. It is required for such a short stopover. You can just show your passport and ticket when you arrive at PEK.
