About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel from US to Russia, then to Guangzhou (stopping in Beijing first)

I will be traveling from the US to Russia, then to Guangzhou (plane stopping in Beijing first) hoping to stay in Guangzhou for 72 hours on Visa-Free Travel before heading back to US (The flight would stop in Beijing again before flying to the US). Does this qualify? Thank you.

I am afraid not if your flight will have stopovers in Beijing. This 72 hour free policy is for directly transit only.
