About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

non-revenue airline employee parents

My parents are wanting to travel to Shanghai on the 72-hour free transit visa. They do not have confirmed tickets as they travel non-revenue as airline employee parents. Can they still utilize the 72-hour free transit with a non-revenue itinerary but no confirmed ticket? Thanks.

I am afraid not. Confirmed flight tickets are required for this free transit permit.
