Can i get Visa for me and my son

My Wife is attending to a conference in Sep first week. She is planning to bring me (Husband) and our child. (5 years old). This is only for 4 days. what kind of a documents i need to submit for processing? How soon i can get it stamped? Is there any interview scheduling? Do i need to make an appointments or working days i can come with the required documents?Do i need to face for an interview.
