Vancouver to Shanghai to Hong Kong

Just want to make sure that this is ok before I book flights..Am i elgible for 72 hr Visa exemption?

Vancouver--> Shanghai Pudong (stay 2 nights or 48 hrs) and then Shanghai Pudong-->Hong Kong
