About:Before Travel to Tibet

My wife and I are traveling overland from KTM to Tibet via Everest Base Camp at the end of October.

What are the things should we pack for the trip and how much walking while at the Base Camp.

I just know Rongbuk Monastery should be a must-pass site and it is around 20km from Everest Base Camp.

Hiking boots, mountaineering clothes, climbing pole, tent, regular altitude sickness pills are most needed.
