What are the things should we pack for the trip and how much walking while at the Base Camp.

I just know Rongbuk Monastery should be a must-pass site and it is around 20km from Everest Base Camp. Hiking boots, mountaineering clothes, climbing pole, tent, regular altitude sickness pills are most needed.
