About:China Transit Visa

Transiting in Beijing: arriving from Tibet, transfering to international flight to Bangkok.

I am stopping in Beijing for 5 days on my way to Tibet (from Canada). I will have a 30 day visa (required in order to get the Tibet permit). Returning from Tibet to Beijing, I am transiting (8 hrs.) to international flight to Bangkok. Is my original 30 day one still valid or is it cancelled upon arr. in Tibet? Do I qualify for 24 hr. transit G? I will not leave the airport. Is the Tibet flight considered Domestic, because I will have to retrieve my checked-in bag prior to checking in for the Bangkok flight. Do I have to go through immigration again? Thanks.

Hi, don't worry, your 30 day L enough, it is still valid when you return to Beijing from Tibet because it is a domestic travel without exit from mainland PRC.
