About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a Transit Visa ? I do not intend to leave the Airport. Is an overnight stay at this airport allowed ?

I am a Nepali Citizen and a permanent resident of the US. I am traveling to Nepal and I have a 15 hour transit in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. please help..

Transit G is not necessary if the stopover is less than 24 hours. You can stay within transit area for the night, or apply for a stay permit to go out for a hotel.
