Train Station Security Searches

I heard that security checkpoints at Chinese train stations typically use only women to search the bodies of both female and male passengers. I am a Western culture male and believe respectful people only have same-gender searches.

Can you confirm that china uses only women to search the bodies of both females and males?

Normally, most security-check staff are women, they could check both male and female. A small group of the staff are men, they could only check the male passenger.
