passport expires in may 2014, travel to hong kong january 2014.

Question

Hi, I'm from Canada and will travel back to Philippines for a vacation this coming January 2014 and will do a 4 days vacation to Hong Kong, but my passport will expire in May 2014. I don't know if the city will allow me to enter their premises without any problems. I was planning to renew my passport in the Philippines but there will not be enough time for me to get it before my flight to HK. Thanks

Hi, it is ok if your passport has one month validity left when you exit from HK. So you should better prepare a return ticket for entry and hotel bookings for your stay there.
