Shanghai Maglev luggage restrictions & VIP vs economy?

What are the luggage restriction for using the Maglev? Size, weight and number of pieces? Are there additional fees for exceeding or can you simply not use? Also, other than price, what is the difference between VIP and economy seats on the Maglev? Thks in advance!

There is strict restriction about the luggage taking onto the maglev and you do not need to pay additional fee for exceeding luggage.
I always used the ecomony seats and I did not found any big difference about the two seats. I suggest you to use the ecomony seats.

Dora, do you know what are these "strict restrictions" or did you mean to say no strict restrictions? Thanks in advance for clarification.
