Question about possible itinirary.

Hi.

I am coming to China 2/9 for 1 month (2nd time so I've been to Beijing, Xian, Yellow Mountains before).
My original plan was Beijing (4d) then Yunnan (Lijiang, TLG, ShangriLa - 7d), Sichuan (Chengdu, Leshan, Panda, Jiuzhaigou+Huanglong - 7d) then Guilin (Terraces, XingPing, Yuangshou - 7d), Hong Kong (4d visiting a friend). Most by flights.
BUT...someone told me that I should reverse it and do Guilin first - then Sichuan and finish with Yunnan to avoid rain...
Is it true? Shall I start with Guilin and finish with Lijiang and then fly to HK?
Any recommendations for Jiuzhaigou in terms of travel guides and stay?
Thanks.

Hi, geographically, you do need to reverse the itinerary. Here it is:
Beijing - Sichuan - Yunnan - Guilin - HK
Flight between shall be the best transportation mode.

According to the latest weather forecast, it would frequently rain in the beginning of Spe. in Guilin and Yunnan. But you will stay for 4 days in Beijing. Then the weather situation shall become fine in other destination. Just pay attention to the weather reports.

As for Jiuzhaigou, it is not necessary to have a tour guide at all. You can travel perfectly on your own. Take it easy! As for the accommodation, I remember there is a Angelie Hotel, around 400m from the main entrance of the park. It is a good choice!
