About:Year of the Rat

Do I still have a chance for success in the Year of the Horse?

Hi, I'm concerned with making a business presentation at a convention at Javitz in NYC that happens every year in October, but I will not be ready for the one this year, because of family obligations that I must attend to. Will I still have a chance for success in the Year of the Horse even though I was born in the Year of the Rat (March 12, 1960)? I'm looking at the weekend of October 11, 2014 in particular? After working in Manhattan for 25 years, I was displaced by 911. And so this would be a sort of comeback, but even better if I nail the presentation.

It is suggested to take part in the presentation this year. Things may not go smoothly in the next year.

Thank you, Belly. Does this better timing that you're advising me of hold up just prior to Chinese New Year in February of 2014 - if I were to submit work to my prospect after the presentation at the convention?

Great, then that means I have a window of approximately 5-6 months to work with. Thank you so much for your help.

Just googled it up. Chinese New Year's in 2014 will be celebrated on January 31st. Always thought of it as a February occurrence, but in reality February has nothing to do with it.
