About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I have a 16 hour stopover in Guangzhou can I pay a fee to spend some hours in a VIP lounge ?

Which airline do you use? As far as I know, different airline companies have different rules for the VIP lounges, so it is suggested to contact the airline companies directly.
