About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I qualify for the 72hr transit visa?

If I fly from Canada to Beijing, stay in Beijing for 60 hours then fly to Hong Kong where I will stay another 2 days, am I still eligible for the 72 hours free transit or is Hong Kong part of the required one for China?

Yes, you can fly this itinerary and use the free transit in Beijing. HK is considered as the third region in this regards.
