Visit to Hemu Village and Baihaba Village in September 2013

Hi, we're travelling to Kanas next September. We've heard that the road to Hemu Village is under construction and if we want to go to the village, we'll have to trek for 7-9 hours, is it true? Is there another way to get there or another mean (may be by horse riding)? And also foreigners are now not allowed to visit Baihaba Village? Please kindly advise.

I heard hiking or horse riding can be chosen to enter Hemu village, but I am sorry that I am not very clear about how to do that. I think you need to reach Burqin, or at least Urumqi where you can find the ways to reach Hemu.
For Baihaiba, there is no limitation for foreigners and you can travel there and enjoy the beauty there.
