About:China Transit Visa

Transit or tourist visa for a 30-hr layover to visit some tourist spots-Beijing

Hi! I hold a Philippine passport residing in and coming from Tokyo, Japan with a temporary resident card. I have two long layovers, one about 13hours and the other about 30hours in Beijing, in connecting flights to Amsterdam. Both connecting flights will be arriving at and departing from two different terminals (T2 and T3). Since both flights involve an overnight stay, I plan to go out of the airport, at least once, to stay in a hotel and try to see some landmarks. Do I qualify for a free entry and be allowed to go out of the airport? I have all the necessary visas and booked connecting and return flights. Thank you very much!

Hi, you need to apply for a transit G in advance for your stopover longer than 30 hours. A single entry is enough because no one is required for a stay less than 24 hours.
