Can we apply for a multi entry 6-month visa and exchange that for a working permit in China?
Dear sir/ madam,
Both my husband and I need assistance with our application. We want to go to China for a TEFL course (teaching English as a foreign language). When we graduate we want to apply for jobs in China and live and work there. There are more kinds: a single-entry, double-entry, multi-entry with 6-month validity or a multi-entry with 12-month validity. We are wondering what kind we need, because we don’t yet know if we will get a job in China or Cambodia. We want to focus on getting a job in China, but are well aware of the fact that we as non-natives English speakers without a degree have less of a chance finding a job, because we can only work in smaller cities or rural parts of China because we could only apply for a working permit in those parts of the country. Therefore we are not completely sure where we’re going after the course. What would you recommend as the best one for our situation? Could we apply for a multi-entry one with a validity of 6-months, while in that period getting a job and apply for a work permit in China?
Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
Kind regards,
Avalon Fernandes-van den Berg
