About:China Visa on Arrival

Is it possible to get one more entry in China from Hong Kong ?

I have work and resident permit in China and went to Hong Kong with my daughter and wife but unfortunately I was not aware coming back from HongKong would be considered another entry and my daughter has a visa with only 01 entry. She is in Hong Kong waiting another entry to be issued
