About:Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh

Requirements for Visa to join as a Ph.D student in Chinese academy of Sciences

I am Hossain Md Sayem, Assistant Professor of Geological Sciences Dept., Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka. I am awarded for CAS-TWAS President's Fellowship for Ph.D (informed by e-mail). Hope very soon, i get all the documents of the fellowship. As per the soft copy of the award letter, i need to go China around September, 2013. So that, please inform me how much time need for processing and what are the documents i need for it?

Hi, the processing takes one week, following documents are required. If you apply for the first time to China, you have to submit your application in person.
1. application form (student and work visa applicants please fill in both Form A and supplementary Form B)
2. passport original and photocopy
3. one photo
4. the original and a photocopy of the school admission letter, and
5. foreign Student Application Form (JW201 or JW202) issued by the Chinese authorities, school transcripts and
6. Medical check
