About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I have the same issue. Arriving the day before. Am unable to get a transit visa. Your experience?

Tyler,
i am having the exact same situation. I arrive the night before at 6pm. I leave the next day at 11am.

4 transit G are costing $600, just for one night.

Do you have any recommendations on what to do at the airport.

Hi, do you mean you will transit through an airport in mainland PRC? if yes, visa is not required if your stopover is less than 24 hours. You can easily get free stay permits for your family if you will go out of airport for a hotel.
