What type visa do i apply for, where do I apply and what documents are required?

I wish to visit someone I met on "China Love Links"an online dating site.

A L type one is ok. You need to provide: your passport, a completed application form affixed with a recent passport size photo, the invitation letter from any Chinese company, organization or individual. If you can not provide the invitation letter, you need to provide round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation in China.
