About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Is it possible to apply for a Chinese visa in China?

Hi I am in China at the moment and have used up my single entry one. I am going to Thailand then flying into Hong Kong but I have to go back into China to get a flight back to UK from Guangzhou a few days later. SO Can I apply for another one while in China? How do I do this? OR Do I have to wait to get to Hong Kong and then get a L type there? OR is there a special case in which I can travel straight from Hong Kong to Guangzhou airport without having to get a visa? The first option is best for me. Any help is really appreciated. I would prefer the first option.

I am afraid that you might not apply in mainland China. You can apply one when you arrive in HK. I am not sure when you will take flight from Guangzhou to get back to your country. The 72 hours free transit will be available at Guangzhou Airport from August 1. If you have connecting air tickets (HK-Guangzhou-England) and stay at Guangzhou less than 72 hours, you will not be required to apply one.
