Philippine Passport and Long Layover in Beijing

I have a Philippine Passport and a 2 year US Greencard (married to US citizen) travelling with US citizen husband and 1 year old daughter. We have a 14 hour and 45 minute layover in Beijing. Will I need to have a Chinese Visa to leave the airport for a short period of time or is there an allowance for Philippine passport holders? I do not see the Philippines mentioned in the 72 hour allowance that started this year.

I think you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance before you arrive in Beijing, as you said Phillipines is not included in the 48 countries.
