Question

Dear All,I am Pakistani national living in China since 2005. I was a student in a reputable university in China on X (from 2005-2009). I am working as an engineer in a multi national firm on Z (from 2010- till today).I want to apply for something permanent residence since I am going to buy my home within couple of days.I have heard there is a option as D applicant. Is it possible for me to apply for that? If yes, then please advise documentation and place for application?OrIs it possible to get Chinese passport?

Hi, you can try to file a application for permanent residence permit to your local PSB with supporting documents such as previous work Z and property ownership certificate if possible. But as I know, it is impossible for you to get a Chinese passport so far. You can refer to travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/permanent-residence-permit.htm for more details.
