About:Chinese Crew, Resident and Journalist Visa

D Visa

Dear All,

I am Pakistani national living in China since 2005. I was a student in a reputable university in China on X (from 2005-2009). I am working as an engineer in a multi national firm on Z (from 2010- till today).
I want to apply for something permanent residence since I am going to buy my home within couple of days.
I have heard there is a option as D applicant. Is it possible for me to apply for that? If yes, then please advise documentation and place for application?
Or
Is it possible to get Chinese passport?

Hi, you can try to file a application for permanent residence permit to your local PSB with supporting documents such as previous work Z and property ownership certificate if possible. But as I know, it is impossible for you to get a Chinese passport so far. You can refer to travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/permanent-residence-permit.htm for more details.
