About:China Visa on Arrival

is it possible to get an entry visa to China while in Hong Kong (US Citizen)? How long does it take?

If you do not have HK resident status, you can not apply in Hong Kong because the original and a copy of HKID are required for application. Regular processing takes 4 working days, expedited service is available with additional fee.
