when do I have to apply for a visa to china if I start my journey on the 7th of October

I start my journey on the 7th of October. I ask this becuase
in September are many holidays when the embassy is closed.
Can I apply on the 27th of August

Hi, you can apply in August if you like. It (a single entry) will be valid for 3 months from issue date.
