About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Questions about visa needed

I am planning on going to china for 6 months on a tourist L and possibly visiting the local countries and hk. What kind type will I need and I have others I have known that need to leave ever 30 or 60 days to get theirs renewed, is that necessary? Thank you!

You can have a try to apply for a multiple entry tourist L, which is mainly issued with 30 days as duration of each entry. It means you have to leave every 30 days to another country/HK and return back to start a new stay of 30 days. It just fits your itinerary as I read your post here.

Thank you for your response! Is there anyway to get a longer one without having to leave? I am wanting to do volunteer work for 6 months so my budget won't allow me to leave every 30 days.
