obtain a vise while away from home country

Question

Hello. I am a citizen of the USA currently working in Germany with my company GEA. I have been requested to visit a customer site near Shanghai via our GEA office in Beijing. Is it possible to obtain a visa from an embassy in Germany as a US citizen?  Thank you, Gordon Browne

Hi, you can apply here but make sure provide the original and copy of your resident permit in Germany for application, which must be valid for at least 6 months.
