About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I wanted to visit HK,should the validity of the passport should be more than 6 months

No, it is ok if your passport is valid for 30 days exceeding your intended stay there. That is to say, your passport should be valid for at least 30 days when you leave Hong Kong. So, just prepare a ticket for leaving and hotel bookings as supporting documents.
