Hello, I am a Lebanese living in China holding the "F" visa and planning to visit Hong Kong!

You can apply from the Office of Hong Kong SAR in Beijing. It takes around 3 days to handle your application. You need to provide: your passport and a copy of its information page, filled ID1003A application form, a recent passport size photo, your financial statement (savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts etc) and flight itinerary.

I've got just two more questions! What's the minimum required amount that needs to be in my account and do I need to apply in person or can I send the documnets through the post mail since I am living far away from Beijing!

As I know, the amount should be no less than USD 100 per day, so you should prepare at least USD 700 (RMB 4,297) for application. The office in Beijing does not accept mail application.
So, if you are living outside Beijing in other provinces/cities of Mainland, you may continue to send completed application forms by posts directly to the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Address: Receipt and Despatch Sub-unit,
