About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

a return trip from London to Melbourne back to London stopping in Shanghai

I am doing a return trip from London to Melbourne back to London stopping in SH for less than 72 hours do I need to apply for a visa or will I be eligible for the 72 hour free transit. I will be leaving the airport and have accommodation book in SH. Thanks
