Is it possible to get Work Z after the tourist L is refused?

I am an Indian and worked in mainland PRC for three and a half years. It has been a year since I came back. Currently I am unemployed and recently applied for the tourist L, but it got rejected. I believe me my unemployment was the primary reason behind the refusal. I have received a job offer from the mainland and the company is ready to process my work permit, so will the refusal of my tourist L application affect the acceptance/denial of the work Z?

Don't worry, the former denial will not affect your work Z application if you have all required documents well prepared, such as the work permit and official invitation letter.
