Is it mandatory to submit the visa application in person or anyone can submit visa doc on my behalf?

We are multinational company, our head office in Turkey and engaged in Waste Management, Transportation and Construction business with collaboration of Government of Punjab, Pakistan. Our branch office is based in Lahore.

Our Turkish directors have valid work visa / resident permit of Pakistan valid uptil 01-03-2015. We are interested in import of machinery from China and our directors intends to visit on business trip. In this connection we have received invitation letter.

I need to know is it mandatory to submit the application documents in person or any representative of our company can submit the documents on behalf of our directors. Can we get it on the same day.
