About:China Transit Visa

travelling to philippines with a stop over in china. holding a norwegian passport

hi. im going to philippines with a lay over of 10 hours in beijing airport. do i need a visa if i would go out of the airport?

Hi, it is easy for you to get a transit permit after arrival at the airport. With the permit, you are allowed to go out of the airport.

I mean that it is not necessary for you to apply for a transit G because the layover is about 10 hours only. You can easily get a transit permit free of charge after arrival at the airport.
