About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

My family and I are stopping in Guangzhou for two nights, do we need a Visa?

Yes, Guangzhou airport is said to implement 72 hours free transit in June, but it is not ready at present and there is no official information about when it will be ready. So, you should apply for a transit G in advance for this stopover.
