Appropraite summer clothing in China

How short can shorts be to be acceptable? Are tank tops acceptable? Xie xie!

Don't worry! Shorts can be generally acceptable in China. And in some large cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, it is common for girls to wear tank tops.
